So sorry we have not blogged recently! Who would have known that walking 25km a day could take up so much time!;) As we are becoming more fit we are able to enjoy our walks more! My eyes and mind are gradually shifting from my feet and the ground to the beautiful scenery around me. This is now our 13th day of walking! Time flies when your walking! Today we arrived in Burgos and went to an albergue which was closed, but she saw me and graciously offered us to stay the night. So we have a new and very nice albergue to ourselves! We decided it was just like a hotel! In talking to the lady we found out the reason the albergue was closed today. The priest and the bishop was staying in the building, so we were able to meet and talk with them!
We are at a point in the Camino where we all are getting use to the whole idea of this pilgrimage and we are all more open to share. Being able to just meet a person and within the hour to have gone really deep is an amazing opportunity we all get to experience walking this Camino! I've had amazing conversations with fellow Christians and non-believerers and all have been eye opening, wonderful conversations! Being able to relate to every single pilgrim, no matter what nationality or region, because of the Camino has been amazing and a bunch of fun. I have learned that we all have something that we can relate to with everyone, it is not just the pilgrims who can relate!
I would really like prayer for our feet! My dad's especially, he has a bad blister! Our feet really don't appreciate us walking this much! :)
